Matt Depa, CCIM

Matt Depa is the Director of Multifamily Sales at Capital Rivers Commercial’s Chico office, specializing in multifamily investment sales, retail and office sales and leasing, and 1031 exchanges.

He began his real estate career working in his family’s property management business, where he developed a strong foundation in customer service and client relations. After earning his B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Chico, Matt went on to work at RE/MAX of Chico. During those years, he learned the importance of consistent follow-up, skilled negotiation, and unwavering dedication to his clients. As a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Matt is known for his analytical mindset and steady communication. He enjoys solving complex challenges and finding deals that others might overlook, an approach that continues to define his work at Capital Rivers Commercial.

Outside of work, Matt serves as President of the Board of Directors for the North Valley Property Owners Association (NVPOA) and Vice President of the California Rental Housing Association (CALRHA). Additionally, he is on the Board of Directors for Youth for Change, where he volunteers his time to support local programs and youth initiatives. In his free time, Matt enjoys watching sporting events, golfing, and spending time with his family.
