Edgar Montanez

Edgar Montanez is a Senior Accountant with Capital Rivers Commercial at the Sacramento office, specializing in asset management, accounting, and finance.

He began his accounting career as an Accounting Specialist at NALS Apartment Homes, a multifamily investment firm, where he developed a strong foundation in commercial real estate asset management. Over time, Edgar expanded his expertise into financial modeling, supporting the underwriting of acquisitions and gaining a deeper understanding of investment analysis. He refined his skills in accounting, financial planning, and financial analysis, building a thoughtful, data-driven approach that guides his work today at Capital Rivers Commercial.

Outside of work, Edgar enjoys cycling and is an avid follower of the stock market, where he spends his free time analyzing public companies for personal interest. He is also known for commuting almost exclusively by bicycle and does not own a car, a lifestyle choice that reflects both discipline and intentionality. Edgar brings the same focus and consistency to his professional work, remaining committed to precision, continuous learning, and long-term financial clarity.
