Carrie Welch, CCIM

Carrie Welch is a Director of Sales and Leasing in Capital Rivers Commercial’s Chico office, specializing in retail, industrial, land, and office sales and leasing throughout the region.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Colorado Boulder before beginning her real estate career with New Urban Builders, a developer and single-family home builder. Over the next 14 years, Carrie gained hands-on experience in residential development, secured her broker’s license, and served as Vice President of Sales. She continued her work in development, deepening her understanding of construction constraints and learning the full lifecycle of building while contributing to the acquisition, entitlement, and development of infill subdivisions and multifamily communities. With this background, she developed her well-known hustle, refusal to give up, and an incessant drive to do better and never let her clients down, qualities that define her approach at Capital Rivers Commercial, where she now helps clients navigate Chico’s commercial real estate market with clarity and confidence.

Carrie is a CCIM designee, a member of the Chico Builders Association, and an active member of the Sierra North Valley Realtors, where she was recognized as Realtor of the Year in 2024. Additionally, she serves on the board of the Chico Community Scholarship Association and is a member of ICSC. In her free time, Carrie is working toward her private pilot license and is a voracious reader. She lives by the motto: life is short, take the trip, buy the fast car.
