Carissa Guess

Carissa Guess is the Director of Operations with Capital Rivers Commercial in the Sacramento office. She provides operational oversight across the firm’s three offices, supporting brokerage execution, employee relations, and administrative operations to help ensure consistent and efficient day-to-day performance.

She began her commercial real estate career in 2007 as a Corporate Concierge for a Class A high-rise in Sacramento, where she served as the liaison between tenants and property management. In that role, Carissa developed strong relationship building skills and a steady service driven approach. In 2015, she joined CBRE in a similar role supporting brokers and overseeing daily office operations. During her time there, she expanded her commercial real estate operations expertise and deepened her understanding of broker support systems. In addition, her experience with Sacramento County in Office Administration strengthened her foundation in budgeting, contract coordination, and managing large scale projects. With this background, Carissa brings dependability, adaptability, and thoughtful oversight to her work, ensuring operations remain steady so brokers and leadership can focus on serving clients.

Outside of work, Carissa is an active volunteer at her daughter’s school, St. Francis High School. She previously held Parent Association leadership roles at a prior school, including co-chairing the annual auction and gala. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and taking on home design projects. Appropriately named after a street in Sacramento, she embraces her connection to the local community. Known for her organized mindset, she even structures her grocery lists by aisle, a small detail that reflects the coordination and consistency she brings to Capital Rivers Commercial each day.
