Kellar Design plans to open a furniture store and interior design studio at the corner of Market and Tehama Streets in Downtown Redding.
Haedrich & Co., Inc. is proud to announce the completion of negotiations for a new retail store and business going into the corner space at Market and Tehama Streets in Downtown Redding, CA. Local interior decorating company Kellar Design, LLC, plans to open a furniture store in the high-exposure suite this January.
“As a local interior decorator, I’m always working with high-quality products that I’ve wanted to showcase to the community,” stated Dustyn Kellar, owner and designer for Kellar Designs, LLC, “and downtown Redding is ready for a home furnishings source that speaks quality and curated shopping experience.” Dustyn plans to use the space to provide exposure to local furniture makers and artisans and meet with clients to discuss home styling and design ideas. “There is so much going on downtown; the momentum is exciting; I’m excited to be a part of the scene and have my clients and customers enjoy the environment as well,” mentioned Kellar about her reason for moving downtown.
The property owners, Market Gateway Holdings, LLC, could not agree more. “Haedrich & Co. does a great job of proactively finding quality tenants, and we were especially excited when Kellar Design was identified for the space,” Eric Hiatt said about the new tenant, “this is a high exposure corner in Downtown; we wanted to see it activated with a retail use.” Haedrich & Co., who completed the deal on behalf of Market Gateway Holdings and Kellar Design, stated Kellar Design will occupy approximately 1,300 square feet on the first floor and another 1,300 square feet in the basement.
